While approaching the personal mile stone of completing 51 yrs of existence in this physical form on this plane, I continue to have MANY realizations. One is, often less is enough!

After nearly a month of no music the DHS is back in business! The beginning of the year is a purging time to get rid of some old & make room for new. Sometimes its hard to shake certain past memories and associations without something to replace them. However if we don't get rid of the old there is no room for the new. "Which came first the Chicken or the Egg"! I look to my those who came before me for guidance.

In the spirit of family members I knew growing up who shaped my musical taste, the image connected to this mix is the HS photo of Uncle Bobby sometimes called "Tiny" who you didn't wanting falling on you Uncle Bobby feed me cheese as a child & exposed me to artist like Freddie Hubbard, David "Fathead" Newman, Art Blakey & Miles just to name a few. Uncle Bobby is one of the memories that will forever be with me
